Prof. luca Filipponi, president of the menotti art festival, visited with the gallery owner, journalist and art critic Carla Mazzoni the solo exhibition of the British avant-garde artist Banksy in progress in Rome at the Chiostro del Bramante (exhibition open until day 11 April 2021) During the visit to which the images refer, the president of the Spoleto kermesse Luca Filipponi met some gallery owners and prosecutors of the English artist, as well as owners of important works by the artist to organize in the city Umbrian an anthological exhibition with over one hundred works by Banksy in Spoleto in 2022 and at the same time the English artist was proposed to sign the manifesto of the menotti art festival 2022 with one of his works (which the artist reserves the right to accept), but also one of the extraordinary provocations by this artist that should take place in the Umbrian city. Filipponi Luca was satisfied with this meeting: "Spoleto has always been a source for many artists of great innovations and provocations and I think that Banksy will also be attracted by the magic of the festival city".
